My friends and I came to the Queen Mary the other day for Dark Harbor. So we came early so we can go to the Observation Bar. We absolutely love it here, we've been here before and we always have a great time. We love beautiful it is after all these years. We love talking about the history of this great boat. And we always take lots of picture of the deck. The service was great, thanks so much.

A friend and I decided to check out the Observation Bar since the ship reopened recently. She has not lost her charm! Ship is as beautiful as ever...yes she needs some work, but the history! The bar was gorgeous!! Such a classy spot! It was $10 bucks to get on the ship, per person..$10 for parking. I wasn't upset about that because my hope is that it helps to restore the ship. They offer small bites...the food was great. My friend had the sliders...I had the pretzel. 😋 More importantly...the drinks. Guys (a term I use for everyone) when I tell you that these drinks were so damn good...there isn't a word that's going to rightfully describe these drinks! My friend and I each had a Weekend at the Waldorf and a Missionarys Downfall. I think the downfall was my favorite but they were both just sooooo good! Service was also amazing and they checked on us the perfect amount of times. RUN don't walk!

The drinks were fantastic! Went on a night where there was a love band, everyone was dancing, it was an absolute blast!!! Don't expect table service though. They brown nose some patrons and ignore the rest. If youre not one of the privileged elite you'll have to go to the bar to irder/pick up on your own.

We did eat but had a couple drinks. The art deco is so cool. Just thinking of the history there blows my mind. Churchill himself probably had drinks and cigars there. Make sure you check it out

You can’t step into a place with this much vintage charm and not grab a drink. The Observation Bar has an old-world atmosphere that perfectly matches the ship, and the cocktails were expertly made—seriously impressive. They seemed a bit understaffed, so service could be busy at times, but the team was friendly throughout. A great spot to slow down, soak in the historic setting, and enjoy a well-crafted cocktail.

My husband, his coworker, and I were visiting Long Beach and I randomly found out about the "Meet at the Mary" Tuesday event that comes with free admission to the ship. We went to the Observation Bar and had an amazing time. The live music was fantastic, the drinks were so well made, the flatbreads were delicious, and the service was great. No notes!! We were also able to just walk around the ship after and look at everything. It was awesome. Wish we lived there so we could go all the time.

Category: Cocktail Lounge. After a wonderful tour of the Queen Mary, both guided and self-guided, we retired to this classy Art Deco bar to pretend like we were among the 800+ First Class passengers who made it their tippling home while crossing the Atlantic during the ship’s glory days. Located near the prow, the bar’s wall of windows provides an expansive view of Long Beach Harbor. The festive 1935 Alfred R. Thompson mural above the hardwood-paneled and aluminum-banded semicircular bar, “The Royal Jubilee Week,” depicts well-dressed dancers with joined hands — one of whom is King George V (where’s Waldo?) — circling a statue of a man on horseback. The understatedly opulent room is anchored and accented by large bright red urns and columns, and a red railing capping the cast-aluminum barrel-themed balustrade separating the upper and lower levels. We snagged one of the small cocktail tables along the windows, surrounded it with the comfy rolling club chairs for the five of us, and spent the next hour or so enjoying cocktails while Observing both the bar and the harbor’s sights. The menu offers shareable small plates and signature cocktails, but the bar can make anything. Whether you have just toured the ship or are hoteling onboard, or are just in the area, this is a unique place to relax, unwind, and soak up the historic ambience. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

Let me start off by saying the Queen Mary is a fantastic piece of history, I attended these past few days and visited. Their bar, rich history, authentic and absolutely stunning. The food, on the other hand, can be a little better. Everything was delicious besides the sausage flatbread, which was very watery, kind of defrosted in a way. I'm not a big fan of I don't typically complain, but that was absolutely disgusting. Although everything else I had was delicious and fresh, I would definitely come back again

All the employees here was very nice and attentive, and the bar prices were surprisingly reasonable. The views are beautiful, too. I’d definitely recommend checking this place out.
